2 weeks agoI visited Shilparamam last Saturday around 11 AM, and it was such a beautiful experience. It’s a perfect place for friends, families, lovers, and couples. The atmosphere is very calm, silent, and peaceful a must-visit place in Hyderabad. The entire park is well maintained and spacious. One thing that really stood out to me was the cleanliness and facilities there are around 5 toilets available for both ladies and gents, which is very convenient for visitors. There’s also a canteen and ice cream stalls to relax and enjoy. Almost half of the place beautifully showcases Lord Krishna’s life in such a meticulous and artistic way it was truly amazing to see. The detailing and presentation are simply wow! Overall, it’s a wonderful place to spend quality time. I will definitely visit again. 🌿✨

2 weeks agoShilparamam is a one-stop destination for authentic Indian heritage, blending shopping, nature, and live performance. The Highlights Shopping: A maze of stalls offering hand-loomed sarees, terracotta jewelry, brass idols, and intricately carved woodwork. Tip: Bargaining is expected and essential. The Village Experience: The Rural Museum features life-sized clay models and 15 thatch-roof huts that vividly recreate traditional village life, alongside a unique Rock Museum showcasing natural formations. Performance: An open-air Amphitheater (1,500 capacity) hosts daily folk music and classical dance performances, creating a magical atmosphere after sunset. Activities: You can enjoy self-driven paddle boating on the small man-made lake, take a bullock cart ride, or explore the grounds via battery-operated cars. Food: The food court is famous for local Hyderabadi snacks (Mirchi Bajji) and Masqati Dairy ice cream.

a month ago⭐⭐⭐⭐ Must-Visit Place to Experience Rural India This is a must-visit place for anyone who loves to explore Indian culture, traditions, and India-made handmade products. The place beautifully showcases the essence of rural India through well-designed miniature displays, where you can see how different professionals and artisans create handmade items. The detailing and presentation are really impressive. One of the highlights is the Indian traditional dance performances, which add life and energy to the place and give visitors a wonderful glimpse of India’s rich cultural heritage. There is a good variety of handmade products, along with ample open space to walk around, making it relaxing and enjoyable for families. The place also offers food options, boating, a kids’ play area, and bird viewing, making it a complete experience for all age groups. The entry fee is very reasonable — ₹60 for adults and ₹20 for children — which makes it affordable and great value for money. Overall, it’s a wonderful destination to understand Indian heritage, enjoy cultural performances, and spend quality time with family. Definitely a must-visit place, especially for those who want to experience the true spirit of rural India.

a month agoShilparamam is a pleasant place with a good ambiance and an entry fee of ₹70 per person. There are many shopping options available. Some items felt a little overpriced, but prices are adjustable, and most shopkeepers are open to bargaining. I wouldn’t say the products are the best quality, but there is a decent variety to choose from. The place has different shopping sections such as a dress section (winter shawls, tops, kurtis), a jewellery section, furniture, crockery, plants, and more. There is also a food court available inside. There is a small stage setup where programs are conducted (not sure if it happens daily), and an artificial waterfall nearby with a boat ride area. My favorite part of the entire setup was the mini version of a village. It was a nostalgic moment for me It is a large place, so be prepared to walk a lot and explore. After some time, it may feel repetitive since many shops sell similar items. I would recommend visiting at least once, especially with family. However, in my personal opinion, it feels more like a one-time visit place rather than somewhere to go repeatedly. Also, take care on weekends, as it gets very crowded.

2 weeks agoVisited Shilparamam on a Sunday afternoon for the Odisha Food Festival. The place itself has good greenery and a calm setup, but the event was quite disappointing. The main issue was with the Odisha food exhibition. There was hardly any authentic Odia cuisine being served. Apart from items like aloo dum and dahi bara, most stalls were selling regular food like noodles, manchurian, pani puri, egg rolls, and chicken rolls, which didn’t reflect Odia culture at all. The organisers really need to do better verification before allotting stalls for such themed exhibitions, as Odisha has so much authentic food and culture to showcase. Also, the event was labelled as an Odisha Food and Craft Mela, but there was not even a single proper stall showcasing authentic Odia crafts, which was quite disappointing. There was only one saree stall that seemed like a regular Odisha saree shop, and the prices were very high. Facilities and overall ambience during the event were also not up to the mark. Considering they charge ₹50 as an entry ticket, basic maintenance and presentation could have been better.Even the basic drinking water facility was not maintained hygienically, as the area around it was quite dirty. Overall, the event did not live up to its name or expectations. The regular permanent shops were okay to explore, though most items felt a bit expensive. I tried mehendi there, which turned out to be worth it after bargaining — got all four hands done for ₹300. Overall, the place is nice for greenery and a casual walk, but it doesn’t have much to offer beyond that. Not sure if the experience was disappointing only because of this particular event, but it could have been managed much better.
