The unique life changing awakening experience. The place is quiet and peaceful for practicing OSHO MEDITATIONS. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, ready to help. The place is good taken care of, clean bathrooms , super good showers and has filtered water. A true island of Wellness in the middle of a crowded and chaotic city. Top class conditions for the practicing of the meditations. Has even a cappuccino bar !! And evening dancing celebration after dinner.

The World’s Best Meditation Resort. I’ve been coming to this place for over two decades, and every single time it feels new. Every time, it feels like coming home. The day begins with Osho Dynamic meditation at 6 AM and flows into a vibrant night event at 11 PM. In between, there are multiple courses and Meditation happening daily — guided by facilitators from around the world, many of whom have lived with Osho and practiced here for years. There’s also an option to stay inside the resort. The rooms are simple, peaceful, and designed for deep rest. But the real magic? Living inside. Staying at least a week and maximum endless!! Allowing yourself to truly slow down, soak it in, and gently slip into OSHO meditation

The Osho International Meditation Resort in Pune is a unique destination that blends the atmosphere of a spiritual ashram with the amenities of a high-end resort. It is widely recognized for its beautiful 40-acre campus in Koregaon Park, featuring lush gardens, marble pathways, and Zen-inspired architecture. Here is a breakdown of feedback based on visitor experiences and resort protocols: The Experience Unique Meditation Techniques: Unlike traditional silent retreats, the center focuses on "Active Meditations" designed by Osho. These include methods like Dynamic Meditation (6:00 AM), which involves intense movement and breathing, and Kundalini Meditation, which involves shaking and dancing. The "Evening Meeting": This is considered the highlight of the day. Participants wear white robes for a session that includes high-energy dancing followed by silence and a video discourse from Osho. The Vibe: Visitors often describe the atmosphere as joyful, vibrant, and celebration-oriented. It feels less like a somber monastery and more like a "spiritual health club." Robes as a Leveler: Every visitor must wear specific robes—maroon during the day and white for evening meetings. This is often cited as a positive feature that removes social and economic hierarchy. Key Logistics & Requirements Registration Process: First-time visitors must undergo a registration process at the Welcome Center, which includes a brief orientation and a simple HIV blood test (a long-standing resort policy). Costs: The resort is relatively expensive compared to other Indian ashrams. Entry Passes: Daily rates are roughly ₹1,000–₹1,100 for Indian residents and ₹2,000–₹2,100 for international visitors. Additional Costs: You must purchase your own maroon and white robes from the onsite boutique, which adds to the initial expense. Food at the "Zorba the Buddha" bistro and campus accommodation are also charged separately. Strict Punctuality: The resort is very particular about timing. If you are even a minute late for a meditation session, you will likely be barred from entering the hall to avoid disturbing others.

I guess it depends on your expectations and what you're used to. I’m used to meditation and yoga retreats and usually there’s some feeling of bonhomie and camaraderie but I didn't feel this at all. I just didn't feel the love. Especially during the protracted check-in which seemed to be more about extracting as much cash as possible...I felt bullied. I enjoyed trying out the different meditations and some other interesting offerings but some of it just isn’t landing for me. No warmth, no softness, and very little interaction. And in the morning dynamic practice the facilitator came and stood in front of me checking up on me. I felt uncomfortable. Maybe I need to spend more time watching Osho videos and reading the books rather than trying to have an experience through practice. But I would have expected more communication between guests. And to be honest , it doesnt feel like a community vibe. Everyone seems to be in their own bubble or in small groups and hardly anyone has spoken to me. I was super disappointed that the stunningly beautiful pool is no longer open for swimming...it looks fabulous but forlorn. They have a strict dress code colour and insist you buy THEIR ROBES before they'll let you out of the reception area. They don't mention that you can buy them super cheap down the road (and I hadn't realised). I also said I didn't want to participate in the evening practice and therefore wouldn't require the white one, but they insisted on selling me these silly 'vouchers' which of course are non-refundable. So I spent them on toiletries and other stuff which i will give away outside the ashram. And because I'm not wearing white I have to stay in my room or leave the premises for two hours while they do their white robe thing. And then there's the food . The food selection is uninspiring , not nearly as healthy or attractive as I was expecting. The cafe has Starbucks style offerings and restaurant is not open all day and meanwhile there's loads of amazing eateries nearby. And honestly, I've never been on a residential retreat where you have to buy hot water for tea. Luckily I've brought my own tea selection as theirs is minimal but there's no access to a kettle. Wish I'd brought a kettle. I've just come from an amazing yoga retreat (also in India) and tea was available 24/7. Now that's what I call not having to think about cash. The cavernous main meditation hall is a wonderful space but feels lacking in human warmth. The whole place feels like it's passed its heyday and looks a bit sad. Some of it feels abandoned. Oh well, hopefully the practices will lighten me up from the inside and these little niggles will dissipate in the glow of bliss. Bring it on!

When I arrived, I was welcomed very warmly and generally received an excellent introduction. I had registered for Living-In and for a program that was very important to me. When it came to the program, they told me that it had been cancelled one month before. Nobody had informed me. I had even changed my flight back home to be able to complete the program since they told me I could only receive a certificate if I stayed until the end. So I paid extra for the flight change and could not even attend the program. They then said I should have checked their website, it was my own responsibility. I was angry and disappointed after this excuse. In the end, everything turned out fine: I participated in another program (which I would never have chosen in the first place), which was absolutely the right thing for me at the time, and I had a very enriching, joyful, and transformative stay. I will definitely come back. However, I expect to be informed about changes in programs for which I have registered.
