Khadakwasla Dam is one of those places around Pune that offers a quick and refreshing escape from the city’s chaos. We recently visited, and the experience was genuinely calming. The drive itself was enjoyable, especially as you get closer and the scenery starts changing from city roads to open views with hills and water in sight. The dam has a simple charm that does not try too hard. The wide stretch of water, cool breeze, and peaceful surroundings make it a great spot to just sit, relax, and do absolutely nothing for a while. It is one of those places where you naturally slow down. Sunset here is especially beautiful, with the sky reflecting over the water and creating a very soothing vibe. One thing I liked is that it works well for different kinds of visitors. If you want a quiet solo break, a casual outing with family, or a bike ride with friends, it fits all. There are small food stalls nearby serving local snacks, which adds to the experience because chai and bhutta with that view just feels right. That said, weekends can get quite crowded, and finding parking can be a little frustrating. Cleanliness in some areas could also be maintained better, especially with increasing tourist footfall.

Best place for some quiet and tranquil. But weekends are a menace, right from parking, to getting some quiet peaceful time. Avoid on weekends. Especially during evenings. Please maintain the surroundings and don't litter, folks.

😍Lovely place to relax and enjoy Nature Close to pune city .The surroundings are clean and green Best place to visit before sunset as the view is worthwhile. 🌽🥪🍦There are food stalls near dam like corn, Vadapav, icecream, gola and so on . A popular hangout place for friends and families. ❌Just avoid going on weekends as it is very crowded on weekends. ✅Weekdays are ideal if you want a peaceful experience without crowd. The best time to visit is before sunset like 4-5 so you can enjoy sunset 🌇
