We visited Lalbagh during the afternoon. Since the weather was cloudy, we did not feel the heat and it was quite pleasant to walk around the garden. Spread across around 240 acres, Lalbagh is huge and has multiple gates to enter the park. We entered through the West Gate and came out through the East Main Gate. Lalbagh is truly a jewel in the crown of Bengaluru, the Garden City. You can easily spend a couple of hours walking through the garden and enjoying the beautiful greenery all around. The lush green surroundings, huge trees and peaceful walking paths make it a refreshing place to spend some time away from the busy city. We simply enjoyed walking around and taking in the greenery. A must-visit place in Bengaluru for nature lovers and anyone who enjoys a peaceful walk amidst greenery.

Lalbagh Botanical Garden is a beautiful and peaceful place to spend a few hours amidst nature. The garden is very well maintained, and it is impressive to see so many mature trees preserved in their natural condition. It offers a calm environment where visitors can sit, relax, and enjoy the greenery away from the city's hustle and bustle. One thing to note is that the garden is huge, and exploring it requires a lot of walking. The entrance fee of ₹100 per person felt a bit on the higher side considering the distance visitors need to cover on foot. While electric cars are available, reaching the boarding point itself involves a considerable walk. For elderly visitors, people with disabilities, or families with special needs, it would be much more convenient if electric cars were available right from the entrance rather than after a long walk. The famous Glass House is one of the main attractions, but unfortunately, we were unable to walk all the way there. Since the garden has multiple entrances, some of them may provide easier access to specific attractions like the Glass House. Overall, Lalbagh is a wonderful destination for nature lovers, photography enthusiasts, and anyone looking for a quiet place to unwind. Just be prepared for a lot of walking and plan your visit accordingly.

Visited Lalbagh Botanical Garden in Bengaluru and had a really nice experience. The place is very clean, peaceful, and full of greenery, perfect for a relaxing break from city life. The Glass House and lake area are the main highlights and great for photos. Best time to visit is early morning as it’s less crowded and entry is free. After that, there is a small entry fee of around ₹30. Avoid visiting in the afternoon as it gets quite hot and crowded. It’s a big area, so wearing comfortable shoes is a must. Also, try to maintain cleanliness and avoid littering. Overall, a great spot for morning walks, photography, and spending some calm time in nature.

It is one of the best places in Bengaluru to relax and enjoy nature. The garden is huge, well-maintained, and filled with beautiful trees, walking paths, and peaceful surroundings. If you're looking for a break from the city's hustle, this is a perfect destination. Things to know before visiting: - Check the garden map before you start exploring. The garden is very large, and without a map you may miss some attractions or spend extra time walking around. - The entry fee was ₹50 per adult during my visit. - Plastic items, including plastic water bottles, were not allowed at the entrance during my visit, but you'll find food and drink facilities available inside the garden. Rules may change over time, so it's worth checking the latest guidelines before your visit. - Drinking water facilities are excellent. Water points are available throughout the garden, roughly every 500 meters, making it easy to stay hydrated. - The entire garden is clean, peaceful, and shaded by thousands of trees, making it ideal for walking, photography, or simply relaxing. - There is a small waterfall that adds to the beauty of the place. - Some areas are still under construction, so a few attractions may not be fully accessible yet. Overall, Lalbagh Botanical Garden is a must-visit for nature lovers, families, and anyone looking for a calm and refreshing experience in Bengaluru. I would highly recommend setting aside at least 2–3 hours to explore the garden comfortably.

This is a massive park with an incredible amount of lush greenery, beautiful trees, colorful flowers, and well-maintained gardens. The natural beauty of the place is what impressed me the most. Walking through the park was a refreshing experience, especially with the cool breeze that made the atmosphere calm and relaxing. It’s the perfect place to unwind, take a leisurely walk, or simply enjoy nature away from the city’s hustle. There are plenty of activities and open spaces for people of all ages, whether you’re visiting with family, friends, or even on your own. The entire park is exceptionally clean, well maintained, and organized, which makes the overall experience even more enjoyable. The only major disappointment was the Glass House. Based on the photos displayed on Google, I had much higher expectations. Unfortunately, it appeared poorly maintained, lacked proper cleanliness, and didn’t have the grandeur I was expecting. It definitely needs better upkeep to match its reputation. Despite that one drawback, the park itself is absolutely worth visiting. If you’re in Bengaluru and enjoy nature, peaceful surroundings, and beautiful landscapes, this place should definitely be on your itinerary. I would happily visit again just to enjoy the greenery and relaxing atmosphere.
