a month agoCharminar in Hyderabad at midnight, and it was a fantastic experience. Unlike the usual daytime hustle, the location was very calm with absolutely no traffic. The monument looks stunning when illuminated against the dark sky. If you want to enjoy the architecture and the beauty of the Old City without the crowds and noise, I highly recommend a late-night visit. It's the perfect time for photos and a quiet walk around the area.

3 weeks agoI had recently visited the charminar on Sunday. It was really crowded and colorful. It was unplanned visit. So we took auto to charminar and driver asked more money if we aren't local people. At last we reached the location. It starts with local jewellery and bangles shops and the precaution voice of ts police about the theives. It was heavily crowded with people some come to shop, some came to visit charminaar. Please be careful while you are with children. Avoid bike because not able to park at a proper place. My experience itwast really good to see such a place.

a week ago⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Visited Charminar and it’s truly a beautiful and historic place. The architecture is stunning and the surrounding market is very lively — perfect for shopping bangles, pearls, and local items. However, the area is a little bit littered and can get very crowded. It’s important to keep your bags and purse safe while exploring. Overall, a great place to experience the culture and vibe of Hyderabad!

The structure is beautiful, especially when you see it up close — the arches, minarets, and old-city charm make it feel timeless. The area is always lively with local shops, street food, bangles, pearls, and the typical Hyderabadi vibe. Even though it’s crowded, that’s part of the experience — it shows the real culture and energy of the city. The surrounding shops and markets are great for exploring, especially in the evenings when everything lights up. Charminar is not just a monument, it’s a symbol of Hyderabad’s history, culture, and life. A must-visit spot for anyone traveling to the city. On the Cleanliness Issue Near Charminar One thing that clearly affects the experience around Charminar is the lack of cleanliness, especially due to people chewing paan and spitting in public areas. Many corners, walls, and pathways are stained, which takes away from the beauty of such an iconic heritage site. It not only looks unpleasant, but also shows how important it is for everyone — locals, visitors, and authorities — to come together and maintain such historic places with care and respect. Better public awareness, strict fines, and proper facilities could really help preserve the charm and dignity of Charminar. Such a beautiful monument deserves a cleaner and more welcoming environment.

a week agoNo maintenance. Waste of time. Bags are not allowed inside and you have to keep them in a private shop. The place is totally occupied by street vendors. It is difficult even to walk near charminar. The place is very dirty. No civic sense. You don't even find garbage bins. It is disheartening to see the pathetic state of this UNESCO heritage site. No need to visit this site and make it more pathetic. Don't go to old city at all.
