4 months agoGood peaceful place. Addition of sound and light show is a welcome addition. It happens at 7p for about an hour. We went on a weekend. Not sure of other days. There are stalls for food, boating.. A new statue if Pandurang has been recently installed.

5 months agoThe place looks even more beautiful in the evening, with a calm vibe all around. Around 7 PM, the fountain show adds a magical touch. There’s also a huge and beautiful Pandurang murti that really stands out. The cute cafés by the lakeside make it perfect to sit, eat,relax, and enjoy the view. Great place for everyone—whether you’re with friends, family, or just spending some “me time”

The view of the lake with the Yeoor Hills in the background is very soothing and gives a nice break from the busy city life. The walking track is well used by joggers and fitness lovers, and the overall atmosphere is calm and pleasant. Around the lake, there are many small food stalls and local eateries where you can enjoy snacks like vada pav, misal, tea, coffee, and light meals. There are also a few family restaurants and cafés nearby for a relaxed breakfast or dinner after your walk. Local shops and vendors sell water, ice creams, and small snacks, making it convenient for visitors. Overall, Upvan Lake is a great spot to relax, enjoy nature, and taste some local food in Thane.
