This is a less-explored, crowd free trek perfect for those seeking solitude and unspoiled beauty . The mix of forest, ridge walking, pinnacles, waterfalls, and spiritual landmarks makes it diverse and immersive . Enhanced by the monsoon, the vibrant trails, flowing water, and lush foliage turn this trek into a visual and sensory delight . When to go: Monsoon is highly recommended for the lush environment—but be cautious of slippery terrain and trail conditions . Stay safe: Wear firm trekking shoes, carry rain gear, maintain group awareness, and use trail markings (arrows on rocks) or a guide if unsure . Essentials: Bring water, snacks, layers for changing weather, and optionally a camera for scenic captures . Tahuli Peak is a hidden jewel in the Sahyadri hills a rewarding trek offering thrilling ridge walks, panoramic views, and a sense of peaceful solitude. The blend of nature, spiritual landmarks, and panoramic vistas makes it a memorable adventure, especially during the monsoon season. Expect moderate to tough terrain, but nothing a prepared and enthusiastic trekker can't handle.

Peaceful trek amidst the jungle. To and fro approx 12kms and 700m of elevation gain, may take upto 5-6 hours total. Multiple water fall stream to cross during monsoon. Trail is properly marked with white arrows. One small hut of priests near shiv temple after 5kms near top can help with basic refueling, another at top. Would not recommend during peak monsoon as the waterfalls may suddenly change to flash floods and descending can be difficult while crossing the heavy flow. Need good endurance if beginner.

Great spot for one day trek. It takes around 6 hours to complete the trek if done non stop, add your breaks and leisure time to it. Nothing technical, but steep climb tastes your strength. Amazing vire from top. You must carry water and food from base village.

Trek was amazing, but our descent was horrible due to scorching heat. Try to start your descent at 10 am, else you'll simply die, or you can descend while taking breaks. We were in a hurry for no reason, maybe that's why later part of our trek was bad. But I wanna emphasize, this was a amazing trek!! We started our trek at 7:45 am, we originally planned to start at 7:00 am, but we were late because of our bus. (Our bus waited for 30min in Kalyan 😑) Overall, awesome trek! Try to go with a group of atleast 2. I didn't feel that this trek is safe for individual hikers, heard a incident where two woman were harassed by a guy named "datta" who stays near the mosque at the top. They went to this place to visit this mosque but they had to spend a night at the hill top, thus this incident. I don't much about this incident. But please be safe, as this peak is a little remote. We barely saw 8 people in our whole trek. Carry some food, ORS, 3-4 litres of water per person. All the best, I hope this peak gets more attention by hikers, thus improving the safety part of this trek.

Honestly speaking this trek is not a joke.Given 4 stars for the beautiful place but reaching here can cause you shortness of breath, cramps, headache if no food and hydration as this one is a tough trek if you want to complete the 3 sides of range. Mistakes done: We started late 8 am reached back 8 pm. Start at 6 am if you want to complete the waterfall, dadima and panch peer. Now reaching Kalyan then a bus or auto to base village kushivali and then starting the trek you can't start 6 am.Atleast start 6.30 or7 am. No first timers and amateur. Only physically fit and people with good cardio respiratory system should attempt this trek.No one can help you in this trek except yourself. Legs need enough strength, the whole trek has rough patch, up and down, plain muddy to begin with have good grip shoes with ankle support and a stick too. Better be trained. Best part is reaching top in monsoon which makes it more tough witnessing the greens and the clouds come down with garam food at the peak. View is superb what you actually view at Europe many places. All is in India.15 yr old we had one actually dint reach peak with us as was tired waited for 2 hrs for us at a plateau between. The whole jungle is fantastic but lot of diversions.Do not attempt to go with unknown here or you will be lost. Waterfalls and waterflows many places in between enjoy that. By the time you reach the reverse waterfall you are so tired you will just be silenced and sit up and admire God's creation.Cafry enough food. We had some ordered near Shiva temple which is made in 2021.Villagers are friendly we ate on banana leaf.Grateful. So if doubts Better don't go.Its risky one.If you have a group of strong minimum 5 encouraging fit people then only think of attempting this one. This is a less visited place. Atleast 10 treks done you may definitely go. Or just incomplete trek hoga. Take care.
