a month agoSuruchi Beach is a lovely coastal spot located near Vasai, easily accessible by catching a local auto-rickshaw right from the Vasai railway station. I have wonderful memories of visiting this beach during my college days with friends. At that time, the beach was exceptionally nice, clean, and peaceful primarily because it was much less crowded compared to other popular city shores. There were absolutely no shops around back then, so we actually brought our own materials and made our own bhel and sandwiches right on the shore! Surrounded by beautiful suruchi (casuarina) trees, it provided a fantastic, calm environment to relax, chat, and watch the waves. It remains a very nostalgic and special landmark for me!

Initially, the syllabus felt overwhelming and confusing, and I wasn’t sure how to approach it My basics were weak and answer writing was a major challenge After joining EMGC, I received structured guidance. Subjects were broken down in a systematic way, which helped build clarity step by step The teachers focused on strengthening NCERT basics and regularly emphasized current affairs, which is very important for UPSC In the beginning, my test scores were low, but with consistent practice and answer writing sessions, I gradually improved The journey required discipline and self-study, but it helped me develop a proper study routine Overall, it was a challenging yet guided experience that gave me direction in my UPSC preparation

8 months ago🌊 Suruchi Beach, Vasai | सुरुची बीच, वसई I have been visiting Suruchi Beach since my childhood, as it’s barely 10–15 minutes from my home. It has always been the most convenient and special place for me — whether visiting with family or friends. ❤️ This beach honestly holds a special place in my heart. It’s my hometown beach, and it feels very personal and emotionally connected to me. 💞 ✨ What I Love About This Beach The fresh, clean air 🌬️ The smooth and cool sand 🏖️ The calm waves & cold water 🌊 The serene and peaceful view 🌅 The perfect place to enjoy sunrise and sunset — especially sunsets, which look absolutely magical here ✨😍 At the beach entrance, exactly opposite the shore, there’s a long line of tall, beautiful trees 🌲🌳 — almost like a small forest. It keeps the air fresh, breezy and adds natural beauty to the whole place. Suruchi Beach is always lively with activities — volleyball, football, kabaddi, cricket, sketching, cycling and so much more 🏐⚽🏏🎨. Families enjoy picnics, kids play around, youngsters chill, and even people from outside Vasai come to visit. Even in the evenings, when it’s full of people, the beach still feels peaceful and refreshing. There are small food stalls near the entrance — bhel, pani puri, and other snacks 🍧🌯 — along with a small parking space for two-wheelers and a few four-wheelers, and rickshaws are easily available too. ❗The Only Negative The only disappointing part is the garbage and plastic scattered here and there — wrappers, glass bottles, thermocol, and other waste 😞💔. It’s heartbreaking to see people spoiling such a beautiful beach by not using dustbins. VVCMC (वसई विरार महानगरपालिका) really needs to take stronger action — regular cleanups, installing dustbins, and appointing staff to maintain cleanliness. Proper care would make Suruchi Beach even better. Apart from this, everything feels wonderful and refreshing every time I visit 🌿🥰. ⭐ Overall Rating: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐

2 months agoI visited Suruchi Beach in Vasai West. I would not recommend visiting in the afternoon, as it gets very hot and sunny. I also noticed some garbage in certain areas, which affected the overall experience. However, the beach is much better in the evening. The weather is more pleasant, and visitors can enjoy a beautiful sunset. If you're planning a trip, I suggest coming in the evening rather than the afternoon.This sounds polite, balanced, and helpful for other visitors.

7 months agoPretty descent and peaceful Beach than any other Beach located in Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). But beach is also sort of dirty and stings , if you comfortable with it then only visit the place , but the Views of The Sunset and Islands are worth it though.
