Sagargad fort is one of the best kept secrets. The hike is 11km long goes through jungles, villages, plateau and meadows. This is very good fort for camping as well. The view from top as well along the route is mesmerising. On clear day one can see whole coastline and Colaba fort. There are some steep sections and in start there are rocky stairs. During monsoon the massive waterfall will recharge you after the tiring hike.

Sagargad Fort, located in Raigad district, Maharashtra, offers a captivating historical experience. The trek to the fort provides breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The dilapidated structures on the fort, including the main entrance and bastions, reflect its rich history. However, the lack of proper maintenance may impact the overall visitor experience. If you enjoy historical exploration and don't mind a bit of adventure, Sagargad Fort is worth a visit.
