Peb Fort is one of the popular trekking destination. It is also known as vikatgad fort located near Neral in Maharashtra. The base point from where you start your trekking is easily accessible by road. You can go their by your own vehicle just park it on the side of road, then start walking along the railway tracks and you will reach kadyavarcha ganpati. After taking the darshan it's your choice either you want to trek ahead or not. Beware of monkeys and take care of your belongings. You can reach here from neral by taxi. The path of this trek is convenient upto kadyavarcha ganpati for beginners. Next the route to Peb Fort trek beyond that is not suitable for everyone it's full of very narrow trails, slippery rocks. If you are not trekking enthusiastic then avoid to go there. This place is only for experienced trekkers. Honestly trekking to peb fort for beginners is very challenging. And if you still want to go then I would suggest you to go with some experienced trekkers. Beauty of this place is enhanced in monsoon season although in this season the trekking is quite risky. So think carefully and go there at your own risk. The narrow trails filled with dense grass with flowing water, slippery rocks, scenic views, and several points where you can see the beauty of nature like rock caves formations & the sound of air which passes from the mountains and Soul satisfying views. Bring your water bottle minimum 2 liters & food items with yourself it's very helpful during trekking. Note:- • This trek is not recommended for childrens & those who is beginners & don't love climbing, thrill & adventure. • Please keep your water bottles and garbage with you and don't throw it anywhere. Don't spoil the beauty of nature

❄️ Winter Wonderland Trek near Matheran! Beautiful and adventurous trek, around 2–3 hours from the base village. Trail passes through caves, forest, and rocky patches – moderate level, perfect for a crisp winter day. The fort top has caves, water cisterns, and stunning panoramic views of Neral, Matheran, and the surrounding Sahyadris. Food options are limited on the way, so carry water and snacks like fruits, energy bars, or sandwiches. Small local eateries near Neral or Matheran are good for tea or light refreshments after the trek. A rewarding trek with adventure, lush winter scenery, and incredible views.
