This charming old house was once Mahatma Gandhi’s headquarters during India’s freedom movement, and today it’s a museum filled with stories that shaped a nation. Inside, you’ll find Gandhi’s personal belongings, rare photographs, and even a room preserved just as he left it. The atmosphere is calm and reflective—ideal for anyone who loves history or simply wants to understand the man behind the movement. It’s not a huge place, so you can explore it in under an hour, but the experience stays with you. Friendly tip: take a moment on the balcony where Gandhi once stood—it’s a powerful feeling!

4 weeks agoFantastic place to visit. The building is beautifully nestled in a quiet small road. There’s a rich collection of photographs and some lovely scenery. And Gandhi’s room is very emotional to visit. I can only recommend visiting this lovely place.

a month agoIt is a good place for history lovers. Contains a lot of images and miniature replicas of various events related to Gandhiji's life and India's freedom struggles. Though these photos can be viewed online as well, it would be a feel-good activity to view it in the museum, especially for school kids. There is a library as well, which is open only on weekdays.
