A peaceful mesmerizing sight you shouldn't miss in Delhi at any cost. This is an architectural marvel... The domes give it the title 'Opera House' of India. The interiors are serene.... The architecture of the meditation hall is amazing and the experience of meditating there provides an oasis of tranquility in the midst of the chaotic urban life of Delhi.

I recently visited the Lotus Temple in New Delhi, and it was a truly peaceful and refreshing experience. The temple’s stunning architecture, shaped like a blooming lotus, is absolutely mesmerizing and stands out as one of the most beautiful landmarks in the city. Surrounded by lush green gardens and water pools, the entire परिसर creates a calm and serene atmosphere, perfect for relaxation and reflection. What makes this place unique is that it is open to people of all religions, promoting unity and harmony. Inside the temple, silence is strictly maintained, allowing visitors to sit, meditate, and experience a deep sense of peace away from the chaos of the city. There are no rituals or idols, which makes it a different yet meaningful spiritual experience. The place is very well organized and clean, though it can get crowded during peak hours. It’s best to visit early in the morning or in the evening for a more शांत experience. Overall, the Lotus Temple is a must-visit in Delhi for its architecture, tranquility, and universal message of peace.

One of the places where you can click photos of the great architecture the lotus temple..meant for people of all religions to offer prayers in silence. Inside the temple no photography is allowed. A huge sitting area, shoes have to be removed while entering and carried in bags provided by the temple authority.

Lotus temple, regarded as the prayer hall of the Bahais, is a beautiful place and architecture situated in the Delhi. The temple looks like the Sydney Opera House and is a very peaceful place. The prayer hall is big and can accommodate thousands of people. The gardens and ponds in the area is neat and clean and well maintained. The most unique thing in this place is their shoe management system. Visitors and pilgrims have to carry their shoes in bags available outside the main starecase. Visitors can spend around an hour in this peaceful place.
