a week agoHad a great time at Gujarat Science City! It’s a perfect place to learn and have fun at the same time. The exhibits are interactive and interesting, especially for students and families. The place is clean, well-maintained, and full of exciting science activities. Definitely worth visiting if you're in Ahmedabad!

a week agoJust spent the day at Science City and honestly, the Aquatic Gallery is on a whole different level. If you’re on the fence about going, just go for the shark tunnel alone. Walking through that 28-meter glass tube with sharks and rays gliding right over your head is an absolute core memory. It feels more like something you’d see in Dubai or Singapore than Ahmedabad—super clean, well-maintained, and those penguins are adorable. The only real bummer was that the Planet Earth pavilion was closed for renovation. I was really looking forward to the earthquake simulator and the coal mine ride, so it was a bit of a letdown to find out I couldn't go in. Definitely check their site before you head out if that’s the main thing you’re going for. A few quick tips from my trip: Wear sneakers: Seriously, the place is huge and you’ll be doing a ton of walking. Book online: The queues at the physical counters can get pretty annoying. Timing: Try to get there early so you aren't rushing through the galleries. Even with the Earth exhibit being down, the Aquatic Gallery made the whole trip worth it. Definitely a solid way to spend a Sunday!

3 weeks agoGujarat Science City is a fantastic place to visit in Ahmedabad, especially for families and science lovers. The Aquatic Gallery, Robotics section, and Planetarium are well-designed and highly engaging. The campus is spacious, clean, and well-maintained with good facilities. Plan at least 4–5 hours as there are multiple attractions with separate ticket timings. The evening musical fountain is a great way to end the visit. Overall, a fun and educational experience worth the time and money.

a month agoScience city is spread over large area and has many sections. To cover the whole city properly one needs atleast 2 days. We decided to visit 2 most important areas. One the acquarium and the other space and astronomy pavillion. Both these areas are a must visit, both are build and designed on world class scale.

2 weeks agogreat place to spend an entire day, especially with family or friends. The campus is quite large and offers a mix of entertainment and learning. From the Aquatic Gallery with its underwater tunnel to the robotics and science exhibitions, there is something interesting for every age group. The IMAX theatre is another major attraction and gives a really impressive viewing experience. There are many interactive activities inside different galleries where children can learn through hands on experiments and displays. The robotics and technology sections are especially engaging and keep both kids and adults curious. It is not just about seeing things, you actually get involved and understand concepts in a simple way. Food options are available inside the campus, including small food courts and snack stalls. You can find basic items like sandwiches, snacks, cold drinks, and simple meals. However, the food prices are slightly on the higher side, and the seating area can get crowded during peak hours. It would be better if more variety and better seating arrangements were provided. While most areas are well maintained, a few sections and outdoor spaces could use better upkeep. Some areas may feel slightly crowded or less clean during weekends and holidays. Better maintenance and crowd management would improve the overall experience.
