* Operating Hours: Open daily from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. * Best Time for Sunrise: Arrive by 5:30 AM to queue at the base gate, which typically opens around 6:00 AM. * Last Admission: Entry generally closes by 5:00 PM. ## Tickets & Entry Fees * Adult Entry: Approximately ₹10 – ₹20 per person. * Shuttle Bus: If parking below the hilltop, a shuttle bus to the viewpoint costs ₹25 per person. * Camera Fee: Around ₹50 for professional cameras. ## Parking Information Parking fees often vary between weekdays and weekends to manage heavy crowds. * Two-Wheelers: ₹30 (Weekdays) to ₹70 (Weekends/Inclusive packages). * Cars: ₹60 (Weekdays) up to ₹150 (Weekends/Hilltop). * Heavy Vehicles: ₹150 – ₹250 depending on the day. Traveler Tip: Carry physical cash, as mobile network at the hilltop is often too weak for UPI or digital payments. Perched at 1,478m, Nandi Hills is the ultimate sunrise escape from Bengaluru. As a trekker, I loved the mist-covered trails leading to the summit—it’s refreshing and beginner-friendly. Beyond the views, the Yoga Nandeeshwara Temple offers a serene spiritual vibe, while the historical Tipu’s Drop and his summer residence showcase the hill's strategic past. The pre-sunrise entry is popular, so arrive by 5:30 AM. Recent updates include improved pathways and eco-zones. It’s a perfect blend of nature, heritage, and soul-searching!

Had an amazing early morning bike ride to Nandi Hills. The ride itself was peaceful with smooth roads, beautiful curves, and cool weather throughout the journey. As we climbed higher, the fresh breeze and greenery made the experience even better. The sunrise view from the top was absolutely stunning and worth waking up early for. The atmosphere feels calm, refreshing, and away from the city rush. A perfect weekend getaway for bike riders, photographers, and nature lovers. Roads are well maintained, and the overall vibe of the place makes you want to visit again.

Nandi Hills is one of the most beautiful destinations near Bengaluru, offering the perfect combination of nature, spirituality, and history. The cool breeze, lush greenery, mist-covered hills, and breathtaking sunrise create an unforgettable experience for every visitor. It is an ideal place to relax, reconnect with nature, and escape the city's busy lifestyle. One of the highlights of the visit is the ancient Yoga Nandeeshwara Temple, a peaceful temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple's remarkable stone architecture, intricate carvings, and serene atmosphere reflect the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of Karnataka. Standing amidst centuries of history, it offers a sense of calm and devotion that makes the visit even more meaningful. The historical significance of Nandi Hills, with its ancient fortifications and connections to Tipu Sultan, adds another layer of charm for history enthusiasts. The viewpoints provide spectacular panoramic views, making it a paradise for photographers and nature lovers alike. Overall, Nandi Hills is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking natural beauty, spiritual peace, and India's rich heritage. Whether you're traveling with family, friends, or alone, this place offers memories that will stay with you long after your visit. I would highly recommend it to every traveler.

A must-visit place. I highly recommend leaving Bangalore by 4:00 a.m. so you can reach Nandi Hills by around 5:15–5:30 a.m..to see the sunrise. The drive up is absolutely breathtaking, with hairpin bends covered in thick fog. The cool weather, scenic roads, and dreamy atmosphere make the journey as beautiful as the destination. There are plenty of spots to click amazing photographs--sunrise view point, tippu drop ,tippus summer palace, yoga nandeeshwara temple etc. You can easily spend 1–2 hours exploring and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. If you're visiting during June or the monsoon season, don't go expecting to see the sunrise. The hills are usually covered in dense fog, so the sunrise viewpoint may not offer any visibility. Even then, the misty landscape has its own unique charm. One important suggestion: avoid visiting on weekends and public holidays. Thanks to the popularity of Instagram reels, the place gets extremely crowded, and the peaceful experience is lost.

Absolutely amazing outing and surprisingly beautiful experience. I never saw such a place while staying in Bengaluru. I went on drive on a weekday to Nandi Hills and it was just the best decision. There was no crowd, roads were empty and beautiful roads. Good quality roads just increased my pleasure of driving and the cold weather was just a bonus on top!
