Standing only on two pillars in both ends, almost hanging above the mighty Ganga river flowing beneath it, this bridge supports thousands of cars and truck loads passing 24/7 365 days. Located near the Howrah Railway Station, it bridges the city to station. A must visit place if you’re coming to Kolkata. Another must visit place is the biggest flower market of Kolkata (Mullick Ghat Flower Market) is situated just below the bridge on near end. In the early morning, you can witness the beautiful sunrise from ghat, and then the hustle of marketplace! Don’t forget to try ‘tea served in earthen pot’ if you’re in Kolkata!
