This is a popular tourist spot with breathtaking views of foggy trees and rock formations. However, be prepared for crowds, especially during weekends. Parking can be a challenge, so plan accordingly. Despite the crowds, the natural beauty and scenic views make it worth a visit. Take a moment to appreciate the unique rocks and enjoy the panoramic views. A must-visit attraction in Kodaikanal.

A must-see destination in Kodaikanal. Actually, we cannot see the cave because it is closed. The cave is not visible through the closed gate because its viability has been lost due to forest leaves and grasses. However, it provides a breathtaking view of the mountain ranges. The film Manjummel Boys has greatly increased the popularity of this location. The location is absolutely stunning. I would recommend going on weekdays to fully enjoy the experience without the crowds. Aside from the traffic, the weather made the trip more enjoyable. Many sections of the cave are now closed due to safety concerns; the caves are extremely deep and dangerous, and steel gates have been installed to prevent accidents. This is a popular tourist destination, offering breathtaking views of foggy trees and rock formations. However, be prepared for crowds, particularly on weekends. Parking can be difficult, so plan accordingly. Despite the crowds, the natural beauty and scenic views are worth the trip. Take a moment to appreciate the unique rocks and the breathtaking views. One of the highlights is a unique spot where the tree roots are curled and twisted like a web, which is great for taking photos and videos 📸✨. Be cautious of monkeys; they will steal your purse or phone!

Here’s a shortened and refined version of your Guna Caves (Devil’s Kitchen) review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Guna Caves – Scenic & Mysterious, But Crowded Guna Caves, made famous again by Manjummal Boys, is a mysterious and scenic spot in Kodaikanal surrounded by dense forest and misty views. It holds historical charm and eerie beauty. Due to safety concerns, cave access is now restricted with gates, as the crevices are dangerously deep. You can’t go inside, but the viewpoint and forest trail still offer a great experience. Worth a visit for its atmosphere and cinematic fame, but expect large crowds and limited access, especially on weekends and holidays.

Guna Caves is a wonderful place to visit! The caves are surrounded by beautiful greenery and huge trees, making it a perfect spot for nature lovers. The caves themselves are very interesting, with unique rock formations that are a result of millions of years of natural processes. The atmosphere inside the caves is mysterious and calm, making it a great place to relax and unwind. The history and mythology behind the caves are also very fascinating, adding to their charm. The scenic views from the surrounding hills are amazing, and you can take some great photos there. Overall, Guna Caves is a must-visit destination for anyone who loves nature, adventure, and exploring new places. It's a great spot to connect with nature and experience the beauty of the Western Ghats. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and exciting getaway.

Nice place to visit. A small walk from the entrance to the place!! You cannot go to the Caves for obvious reasons, but the tree roots are something that you can use to shoot some great photos. Have some nice photogenic places on the way to the caves so try shooting some great pictures. Fee: As of July 2025, the entry is Rs. 10 for adults and free for kids below age 5. Best to visit along with the other places like Pine Forest, Moir Point and Pillar Rock.
